Valerie joined the Rosenfield and Company Tax Services Team in 2019 after graduating with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She was raised in Chengdu, the capital of southwestern China’s Sichuan province, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She now resides in Brooklyn and is an integral part of Rosenfield and Company’s New York City office.
She gained experience in Tax Services in both China and the U.S. before making the move to New York City. While in school she was Vice President of Marketing in the University’s Tax Club as well as an Advanced Certified Volunteer by the IRS to volunteer her time to provide tax services to low income families.
Valerie is an avid movie buff, loves to play badminton and considers herself a foodie. She is also learning Japanese in her spare time.
