Orlando, FL, January 5, 2021– Accounting firm Rosenfield and Company, PLLC’s Partner and Firm Leader of Business Advisory Services, Robert B. Morrison, ASA, BV/IA, has been elected to The Appraisal Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Bob will be serving the board for an initial three-year term, beginning January 1st, 2021.

The Appraisal Foundation, headquartered in Washington, DC, is directed by the Board of Trustees. The organization was authorized by US Congress as the official source of appraisal standards and qualifications in 1989, through the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act (FIRREA). The Foundation also provides guidance on recognized valuation methods and techniques for all valuation professionals, helping to advance the profession and ensuring appraisals are independent, consistent, and objective.
Bob has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University in Ohio and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the University of Central Florida, accompanied by the Accredited Senior Appraisal credential (ASA) with an Intangible Assets Specialty (BV/IA). Bob’s experience began in the 1980’s through the private industry and was followed in the early 1990’s by what has become his niche; valuation, forensic accounting and insolvency. In 2011, Bob started the firm, Morrison Valuation and Forensic Services, which merged with Rosenfield and Company, PLLC in January of this year. Bob’s work spans across four main areas, Forensic Accounting, Business Valuations, Litigation Support, and Insolvency and is frequently appointed as a trustee, examiner, or receiver, serving as a court-appointed neutral.
